– Rocksteady Studios has decided to discontinue new content for “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League”. The British developer has revealed plans to cease support for the beleaguered online game after the release of Season 4 in January 2025.
– A new trailer for “Borderlands 4” will be shown at the Game Awards this Friday, 13 December. According to Randy Pitchford, the CEO of Gearbox Software, the trailer will contain a blend of gameplay and cinematic cutscenes, and takes place midway between the end of “Borderlands 3” and the start of “Borderlands 4”.
– According to the US Federal Trade Commission, they are in the process of sending refunds totalling more than $72 million to consumers who were “tricked” by Epic Games, the creator of “Fortnite”, into making unwanted purchases.
– For what it’s worth, video game publishers are reportedly cautious about announcing release dates for their own game titles in 2025 until Take-Two Interactive confirms the official launch date of “Grand Theft Auto VI”.
